Sandra Chaney is Nonprofit Strategist, Certified Empowerment Coach, Speaker 8x international bestselling author, Fatherless
Daughter, and Women’s Advocate. 

She is a thriver of domestic violence, sexual assault, 
homelessness, and sex trafficking. Sandra is on a global assignment to help empower women to turn the pain into power and purpose so they can live their best in life and business.

She is the CEO of Sandra Chaney Enterprises and the Founder of the Inner Core Academy where she provides strategies to nonprofit businesses to help them become profitable and sustainable.

Sandra’s passion for helping business grows stems from her working with a shelter for women fleeing from domestic violence over 20 years ago. She served in the capacity community educator and helped to spread awareness in surrounding communities about the need for program and services.

She has also served on the board of several nonprofits whose passion is to help women and children who have experience domestic violence. Sandra has worked with the Clairol cosmetic company and Southern Living Magazine to produce a video that trained salon stylists on domestic violence in nine states; and was of several women featured in Red Book Magazine national video promoting stories of Women who are conquerors of Domestic Violence.

 In addition, she has used her experience working in the nonprofit sector and as a Federal Grant Reviewer to teach and coach Non-profit organizations how to build a solid foundation so that they can have major impact in the communities they are serving. In this capacity, she has assisted in securing over $15 million plus in grant funds for Non-Profit Organizations.

Sandra is now the host of a podcast entitled The Profit in Nonprofit. This Podcast is for those who are interested in learning how to start, build and fund a nonprofit.

She is the bestselling author of The Inside Secrets To Getting Money For Your Non-Profit, The Woman Within: It’s An Inside Job, Give It to Her: The Gift of Healing and Restoration, as well as a co-author in seven other books.

In 2018, Sandra received Brave, Bold and Beautiful award for women leaders who are not built to break. She was also featured in the Spring, 2018 of the Unbreakable Women Leaders Magazine: a personal Growth and Lifestyle Magazine.

She received the Humanitarian Award from Trinity International University of Ambassadors for being an Extraordinary Leader. She was nominated for the 2006 and 2019 Maryland Top 100 Women’s programs for women who are making an impact through leadership and community service. In 2004, Sandra was the recipient of the 2004 Fruit of Her Hand award from The Black Church and Domestic Violence Institute for women who have risen above their circumstances to make a difference in their community.

She loves to travel, hang out with hubby, walk in nature, hang out the beach and hug trees. She donates her time regularly to a number of worthy causes.
